Beach Brain proudly supports clinicians that have partnered with other Vestibular Experts to produce the most comprehensive private multidisciplinary Dizziness and Vestibular Assessment Clinic in Queensland - Dr Benjamin Tsang, Neuro-Otologist, a team of amazing Vestibular Physiotherapists (partnered with the excellent Advanced Vestibular Clinics), and Grant Collins, Vestibular Audiologist from QVCC provide a comprehensive triage and assessment process for all patients referred with dizziness and suspected vestibular problems.

On receipt of referral for a complex dizziness or vestibular problem, initial assessment will occur with the vestibular physiotherapist and Grant Collins' testing, allowing a Case Conference between the team and Dr Tsang to discuss the likely differential diagnosis and initial therapeutic plan; this helps establish a comprehensive multidisciplinary plan prior to seeing Dr Tsang, and helps filter out readily treatable pathologies (eg. vestibular migraine) from other vestibulopathies.

Beach Brain supports outstanding Rehabilitation experts to provide a comprehensive private concussion clinic, allowing multidisciplinary assessment and rehabilitation for mild traumatic brain injury. The first private clinic of its kind, it is modelled on the success of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital's clinic, which was the first service in the State; both services are leading Queensland in optimising outcomes for this under-recognised condition.

Detailed nerve conduction studies (nerve tests), electromyography (muscle tests), and other more specialised testing including facial studies and single-fibre EMG can be performed. The clinicians we support are the only clinicians on the Sunshine Coast that offers these advanced techniques.

The independent clinicians do not perform EEG services on-site, preferring to utilise either the excellent EEG service at SCUH or nearby private providers.
