Dr Lauren Den Ouden is an AHPRA registered Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist Registrar. Lauren completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry) with the University of Southern Queensland and completed her neuropsychological training and research thesis as part of the Doctorate of Clinical Neuropsychology Program at Monash University.
Lauren has experience conducting assessments in neurodegenerative conditions (e.g. dementia, parkinson's disease), cognitive strengths and weakness following acquired and traumatic brain injuries to guide rehabilitation recommendations, cognitive strengths and weaknesses in the context of various neurological and psychiatric conditions, decision making capacity assessments, intellectual impairment, and NDIS eligibility and plan reviews.
Therapeutically, Lauren has a keen interest in working with clients who are experiencing ongoing symptoms following head injury. She also has experience working with clients who have post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety and functional neurological symptoms.
Lauren’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgemental. She believes in delivering evidence-based treatment that is personalised to each client’s unique situation.
