Dr Quentes de Vries was trained on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane as a General Physician and Geriatrician before pursuing additional training in Stroke medicine and Movement Disorders. 

With Dr Tampiyappa, he has a key role both in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital Stroke Service, and the Maleny Hospital Movement Disorders Clinic. Dr de Vries is experienced in both Acute General Medicine and Geriatrics, complemented by his subspecialty interests, and he is passionate about holistic care of his patients.

He has hospital appointments at SCUH, SCUPH and Selangor.
