Dr Joshua Barton graduated from the University of Queensland and completed his early neurological training in South East Queensland. He completed a Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Dr Barton worked as a consultant neurologist in the Brain and Mind Centre’s Multiple Sclerosis clinic for four years whilst undertaking a PhD in MS at the University of Sydney.

Dr Barton has recently returned home to Queensland to raise his young family and has joined the team at SCUH and Beach Brain to help provide high-level tertiary care in Neurology for the Sunshine Coast. With Dr Winkel, he runs the Neuro-Immunology service at SCUH.
