Dr Travers gained his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2015. He has trained at hospitals all over Queensland including Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Rockhampton and Bundaberg. He then completed his advance neurology training locally at the Sunshine Coast and Royal Brisbane hospitals. He has finished fellowships in Stroke and General Neurology. 

Dr Travers has experience and interest in a broad range of neurological conditions including headache, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders, and neuropathy. He has extensive training in acute and chronic stroke care and prevention. He is skilled at nerve conduction studies and botulinum toxin treatment.

Dr Travers has developed the ability to explain neurological conditions and treatment plans in a way that is understandable and accessible to all patients.
