The Coronavirus, or COVID19, is a unique challenge that is going to affect most, if not all, Australians.

The situation is constantly evolving, and our response today may be different to our response tomorrow. As a Private Healthcare provider, Beach Brain is complying with all Federal and State Government advice and legislation, to keep you, our patients, safe.

Because our Specialists all work in the Public Sector, and because a large number of our  patients are particularly vulnerable, we ask that all persons attending our practice please follow the directions of our staff to keep us all as safe as possible. We are most concerned for your safety, and the risk that we may unintentionally expose you to COVID without careful consideration and mitigation of risks in our practice.

If you are unvaccinated, we require mask wearing at all times. You will be asked to wait outside our waiting area, but your consultation can proceed as usual.

If you are unvaccinated but unable or unwilling to wear a mask, you will not be permitted to have a face-to-face consultation in our practice. Your Specialist may, at their discretion, offer you a consultation outside the building, or via Telehealth.

During this period we anticipate our reception staff will be even busier than usual, and it may be very difficult to contact us by phone. Please send emails for non-urgent enquiries. We are all working as hard as we can to continue our vital service while also protecting the patients we are bound to serve, and your patience is much appreciated at this difficult time.
